    9811 Antique Chinese Silver Mug

    A fantastic little silver christening mug with the original bright gilt interior. The body is applied with charming scenes of Chinese figures going about their daily life. The handle is shaped in the form of a dragon. To the front is a shield with the name “Joyce”. Contains 170 ml. Weight 149 grams, 4.7 troy ounces. Height 9.2cm/10cm. Diameter of top 5.4cm. Stamped underneath with Chinese silver marks for Leeching, Canton, Hong Kong & Shanghai. Circa 1870.

    A late 19th century Chinese export silver rose water sprinkler. The lower body and foot are finely chased with repousse floral decoration, and the tall slender top has a cast and applied bird with the little sprinkler holes. Weight 70 grams, 2.2 troy ounces. Height 16.5 cms. Stamped underneath with Chinese silver marks and makers mark MK.

    A large and heavy Chinese silver bowl with hammered finish and gilt inside. The applied decoration with mixed metals has an underwater theme with seaweed, crabs, shells and reeds. Very good gauge silver. Weight 1243 grams, 39.9 troy ounces. Height 9.5 cms. Diameter 24 cms. Stamped underneath with Chinese characters. Maker CL – operated 1890 – 1920. High grade silver.
