A nice little silver pepper pot in the form of a Victorian teapot. Typical late 19th century shape with oval tapering sides and straight spout. Gilt inside. The lid pulls off to fill with pepper. Weight 28 grams, just under 1 troy ounce. Height 4 cms. Spread of handle to spout 7. 2 cms. Base 4.2 x 3.4 cms. Chester 1898. Maker Saunders & Shepherd.

This pretty little collectors condiment is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Stamped with full English silver hallmarks on both top and base.
