A very pretty antique sterling silver mug with a deep relief flower and leaf decoration around the body and shaped handle. Original interior gilding (faded). Hand engraved to the front is a monogram in old fashioned script.

Thomas Edwards, London silversmith, apprenticed to John Robins 1789. Freedom unrecorded. First mark entered as plateworker 1816. Second mark 1822. 3rd mark 1822, 4th mark 1823.

Condition

This lovely child's mug is in very good condition. The silver marks are clear and easy to read. Original interior gilding (worn).
