Hunting interest. A decorative antique sterling silver page turner or letter opener with the handle in the form of a heron with a long intertwined fish tail. The blade is beautifully hand decorated with a hunting scene of horses riding to hounds.
Length 35.5cm. Width 2.5cm.

This lovely desk item is in excellent condition. The painting shows no signs of wear. The silver marks are clear. The is a tiny bit of fritting at the end of the blade which could easily be rubbed down if required (see photo).
