Description

An excellent quality antique silver box with a pull off lid. The interior has a central divider and bright original gilding. Good gauge of silver and patina. Weight 81 grams, 2.6 troy ounces. Height 2 cms. Top measures 6.25 x 5 cms. Marked underneath with makers initials and continental silver mark for Pressburg, Bratislava in current day Slovakia. Circa 1790.

This handsome box is in good condition with no damage or restoration. The internal gilding is bright. The silver mark is partially stamped but readable. Slight surface scratching. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
