Description
An early English antique sterling silver beaker of plain design with simple foot wires. Around the top there is a band of hatched foliate decoration; this was used from the Elizabethan period until this time but with gradually less detail. Scratch weight underneath. Contains 325 ml. Weight 204 grams, 6.5 troy ounces. Height 9.4 cms. Diameter of top 8.75 cms. London 1675. Maker “TH” (Jacksons page 128).
Condition
This charming antique beaker is in very good condition. Excellent patina. The engraving is still crisp. Stamped with a full set of clear English silver hallmarks. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
