A handsome pair of antique sterling silver salvers of plain design and standing on decorative splay feet. Heavy quality. Applied with a striking double border with gadroon and shell detail. Hand engraved to the centre with an armorial, crest and motto “Consequitur Quodcunque Petit*”. These small size trays are often referred to as waiters and are ideal for use with small objects such as glasses and bottles. Total weight 919 grams, 29.5 troy ounces. Diameter 21 cms. These lovely antique salvers are in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Both with a clear and matching set of English silver hallmarks. The centre is firm and does not appear to have been erased. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item
