Description
A continental silver footed drinking cup with simple tapering form. Very charming hand engraved decoration to the body with shells, flower heads, foliage and scrolls. To the front there is the engraved name “R. Roze”. Contains 180 ml. Weight 88 grams, 2.8 troy ounces. Height 9.7 cms. Diameter 7.5 cms. Stamped on the base with French silver marks and makers lozenge mark. Also stamped on the bottom rim. Circa 1790.
Condition
This silver beaker is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. The decoration is still crisp. The silver marks are clear and easy to read. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
