An excellent set of antique sterling silver cutlery in the Fiddle, Thread and Shell pattern. Excellent antique style. Each has a hand engraved crest. Total 57 pieces. A full place place setting for 12 people but missing 2 dessert forks and 1 teaspoon. Total weight of flatware 4106 grams, 132 troy ounces. All same date and maker. London 1840. Maker William Eaton.

Condition
This comprehensive set of cutlery is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. All pieces have good, clear silver marks. The spoon bowls are in good order with some light scratching. The shells on the reverse show some wear. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
