A handsome early English silver mug of plain straight sided form with banding. Britannia standard silver. Excellent colour. Uninscribed. A nice detail is the decorative ribbed spine to the top of the handle. Contains 650 ml. Weight 374 grams, 12 troy ounces. Height 13 cms. London 1708. Maker John Hodson.
Condition
This lovely old mug is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. Uninscribed. Excellent colour. The silver marks are still clear and easy to read. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
