A fine quality antique sterling silver tray of oval form with side carrying handles. Classical style with broad gadroon and shell borders. The centre has an excellent deep hand chased cartouche containing a large armorial with the motto “Fac et Spera” meaning “Do and Hope”. Weight 3840 grams, 123.4 troy ounces. An elegant antique sterling silver chamber stick with plain classic styling, gadroon borders and plain C scroll handle with a thumb piece. The candle nozzle and snuffer are detachable. There is a family crest hand engraved to all 3 pieces and the pan base and snuffer both have an engraved monogram in old fashioned script. Weight 376 grams, 12 troy ounces. Height 9.5 cm. A fine pair of antique sterling silver salt dishes formed as scallop shells mounted on naturalistic turtle shell bases. Heavy cast gilt silver. The detailed workmanship on these is quite exceptional.
