Alone as plateworker 1st mark 1825, 2nd mark 1827. Joseph’s son Charles Tyrwhitt Cradock was apprenticed to Alexander Thomas, silver planisher 1823.

    A fantastic quality pair of antique sterling silver candle holders with shaped column and detachable nozzles. Decorated all over with shells and sea foam, the circular bases dotted with flower heads. Unusually heavy cast silver. Weight 2455 grams, 78.9 troy ounces. Height 29.8cm. Base 15.5cm. London 1826/9.
