Provincial silver. A good antique sterling silver tankard with domed hinged lid and plain baluster design. Attractive strapwork to the top of the handle. An unusual feature is the engraved decoration to the heart shaped finial at the base of the handle. Uninscribed. Contains 800 ml. Weight 664 grams, 23.3 troy ounces. Height 18 cms.
