An excellent quality antique sterling silver salver of plain form and raised on heavy cast shell feet. Simple Bath border. Good weight and patina. To the front is a well executed, hand engraved armorial and crest within a decorative cartouche. Weight 1970 grams, 63.3 troy ounces. Diameter 39.5 cms. Height 5 cms. London 1735. Maker Peze Pilleau, the highly regarded Huguenot maker.

A rare early English sterling silver jug with a hinged lid. This handsome jug has a plain design with cast foot and handle and to the front there is a hand engraved armorial with the motto “Post Tenebras Lux”. This is an impressive jug and very heavy quality. Excellent colour. Contains 2 litres. Weight 1259 grams, 40.4 troy ounces. Height 26 cms. Spread 17 cms. Base diameter 11 cms. Marked on lid and base for London 1730. Maker Peze Pilleau, a good Huguenot maker.

A rare Irish provincial sterling silver serving spoon with a sought after Cork makers mark. Long length. Plain style with an initial in old fashioned script hand engraved to the handle. Weight 107 grams, 3.4 troy ounces. Length 30 cms. Bowl 9.2×5.5 cms. The bowl is solid and has no wear. Stamped 3 times with the makers mark only for John Heyland. Circa 1790.
