A handsome antique sterling silver centrepiece bowl on pedestal foot, with plain classic styling and broad gadroon borders. Good size and weight. Excellent quality. Bright original gilding. There is a large hand engraved armorial to the front with the motto “Prest Pour Mon Pais” – ‘Ready For My Country’. Weight 2545 grams, 81.8 troy ounces. Height 20 cms. Diameter 29 cms. London 1807.
