A handsome antique sterling silver cup of strong circular form raised on a pedestal foot. Excellent quality and gauge of metal. Crisp decorative borders with vine leaf and classical decoration to the body, column and foot. Original gilding to the interior. Hand engraved to the front is a large Latin inscription in old fashioned script. Contains 575 ml. Weight 405 grams, 13 troy ounces. Height 17 cms. Diameter of top 10.5 cms. London 1819.
