9298 George III Silver Lidded Tankard
A good antique sterling silver tankard with domed hinged lid and plain baluster form. Good size and weight. Attractive strapwork and shaped pierced thumbpiece to the top of the handle. Hand engraved to the front is a large hand engraved monogram in old fashioned cursive script. Contains 1200 ml. Weight 864 grams, 27.7 troy ounces. Height 22 cm. Diameter 10.8 cm (top).
