An excellent quality antique silver snuff box with bright yellow engine turned decoration and a bold mosaic border. Snap close hinge. Original gilt interior. Weight 138 grams, 4.4 troy ounces. Top 8.3 x 5.8 cms. Marked inside the top and base with Austro Hungarian silver marks. Circa 1886-1922.

This pretty silver box is in good condition with no restoration. The snap close hinge works tightly. One corner of the enamel base is chipped (see photo). Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
