A very charming antique silver box with hinged lid mounted with a silver coin surrounded by a circle of paste stones (some missing). Small size. With rope borders and a hand engraved design to the sides. Weight 30 grams, 1 troy ounce. Height 2 cms. Diameter 4 cms. With continental silver marks underneath. Circa 1840.

This attractive little box is in used condition. No repairs. The engraving and the coin have some wear. There are 10 stones missing from the top.
