A late 19th century bright colour enamel and ormolu mantel timepiece with a portrait roundel to the front. The dial is painted with floral swags within a paste-set bezel. Platform lever escapement. Height 8 ½ in. (21.5 cm.). Width 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.). Depth 2 ½ in. (5.5 cm.). French. Circa 1890.
This pretty little clock is in good condition with no damage or restoration. The movement is unrestored (no key). The enamel is undamaged. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
