A fine quality 18 carat gold box with a lift off lid, leaf decorated borders and engine turned lid and base. Excellent workmanship and crisp detail.

Weight approx 22 grams.
Diameter 4cm. Height 1.5cm.
Every piece is marked with French gold marks for Paris.
Circa 1800.

Marks. Each piece has multiple clear and full French gold hallmarks including:
cockerel mark (Rosenburg 6572),
gold mark 750 grade which is 18 carat, used 1798-1838.
guarantee mark, (Rosenburg 6582), department 85 Seine, used 1798-1838.
