Description

A good quality antique silver box of shaped bombe form with a hinged lid and shell thumbpiece. Probably a sugar box or tea caddy. Weight 290 grams, 9.3 troy ounces. Height 10 cm. Top measures 13.3×9.4 cm. Marked underneath with an assay scrape, Augsburg mark for 1751 and makers initials “IPM”.

Condition

This pretty box is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Stamped underneath with clear German marks, Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
