Description
A continental silver drinking cup with simple tapering form. Very charming embossed decoration with a large cartouche to the front containing a depiction of Adam and Eve. Contains 220 ml. Weight 121 grams, 3.8 troy ounces. Height 10 cms. Diameter 7.5 cms. Stamped on the base with German silver marks for Prussia. Also stamped on the rim and underneath with the tax mark “FW” for King Friedrich Wilhelm 1809-1812.
Condition
This silver beaker is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. The decoration is still crisp. The silver marks are clear and easy to read. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
