A rare antique silver beaker of tall tapering form. Excellent large size and still retains the original bright gilt finish. Around the body there is a hand engraved leaf and scroll decoration containing three exquisite quality vignettes of old testament bible scenes. The foot is decorated with a stamped bead and flower ornament.
Contains 700 ml.
Weight 187 grams, 6 troy ounces.
Height 18 cm. Diameter of top 10.9 cm.

Condition
This superb antique beaker is in very good condition. Excellent patina. The engraving is still crisp. Stamped underneath with German silver marks. The gilt is original and bright with a small amount of wear completely in keeping with its age.
