An antique silver drinking cup of neat proportions having a simple rounded form and hand engraved matting decoration. This is a palm cup, known in German as a Faustbecher.

Contains 60 ml.

Weight 47 grams, 1.5 troy ounces.

Height 4.3cm. Diameter 5.8cm.

Stamped underneath with German silver marks for Nuremberg,

Maker “WS”.

Circa 1805. The date letter “M” dates the cup to 1894-1808

Condition

The cup is in very good condition. The engraving still retains good definition.
