A very pretty antique silver teapot with plain oval shape and straight angled spout. Excellent quality. The raised lid is beautifully engraved with acanthus leaf ornament.

Marks. Stamped underneath twice with Italian silver punches for Naples 1804. There is also a maker’s or alderman’s mark (unidentified) and an assay scrape.

This elegant silver teapot is in very good condition with no damage. The wooden handle is tight. This pot has been water tested and does not leak, it pours very well. The pot shows moderate signs of wear commensurate with age.
