The tankard is in good condition. Made of heavy gauge silver. Stamped underneath 4 times with maker’s mark only “AEH”, the lid and handle are unmarked. There are a couple of old solder repairs to the feet visible both inside and outside. A couple of minor dinks to the edge of the lid. The tankard has been tested for water retention and there is a small leak from the base which can be repaired if requested.
