Condition
This handsome jug is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. The hand engraved armorial is still crisp and appears contemporary. The jug is fully marked on the body and part marked on the lid with clear English silver hallmarks. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.

Nathaniel Lock, apprenticed to Roger Strickland in 1680, free 1687. First mark entered as smallworker circa 1687. 2nd, 3rd and 4th marks entered as largeworker in 1699. Died 1749.
