A delightful little antique silver purse in the form of a handbag with a carrying chain. Excellent decorative detail including faux basket weave and shaped leather straps with buckles. Original gilt interior.

Height 6cm (excluding chain). Width 7cm.

Date 1882.

Marks. Stamped on both sides with Russian silver marks including the grade “84”, town mark, the year 1882 and the makers mark.

This pretty little purse is in very good condition. The gilding is bright. The silver marks are crisp and clear. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
