Description

Antique Russian silver salt of traditional form with hinged seat and bracket feet. The arched back is pierced and engraved in foliate and floral motifs, additional engraved floral decorations around the seat. Gilt interior. Weight 92 grams, 2.9 troy ounces. Height 10.5 cms. Width 7.5 cms. Marked underneath with Russian silver stamps. Maker Kazakov, Moscow, circa 1896-1908.
