This lovely cutlery is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Each piece is stamped with a full set of matching English silver hallmarks. The wooden box is in good condition. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item. The cutlery handles are made from real mother of pearl shell and there may occasionally be a slight variation in grain and size.

Henry Wilkinson. This old established Sheffield firm was founded by J. Winter circa 1760 and evolved into Henry Wilkinson through many intertwined partnerships. Henry Wilkinson & Co entered its first mark in the Sheffield Assay Office in 1831 and expanded their business in 1857 when they entered their first mark in the London Assay Office. In 1892 the firm was acquired by Walker & Hall.
