An unusual antique silver 2 tier serving stand with a detachable base which can be used separately as a tazza. With 2 decorative leaf plates, a beautifully shaped and decorative handle and a pedestal base embossed with flowers. Weight 1422 grams, 45.7 troy ounces. Total height 47.5 cms, base 19 cms, top 40 cms. Diameter of plates 24.5/28.5 cms, top of base 15.4 cms. Marked on both pieces with Austro Hungarian marks for 1863. Maker J Keiner.
Condition. This beautiful solid silver cake stand is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. Both pieces are stamped with matching Austro-Hungarian silver stamps and maker. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
