A good pair of sterling silver candelabras in the lovely plain style typical of the George II period. The branches and nozzles are detachable and the candlesticks can be used separately.
Filled weight 1944 grams, 62.5 troy ounces.

Maker: Hawksworth & Eyre
Founded in 1833 by Charles Hawksworth and John Eyre. The partnership was dissolved in 1869 and the business was continued by James Kebberling Bembridge, Thomas Hall and George Woofhouse. In the 1870s the firm became a limited liability Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd. The firm went into liquidation in the 1930s.
