A magnificent antique sterling silver cream jug with a bright gilt interior; the handle formed as two intertwined serpents. To the front and back there are classical scenes of the god Neptune with sea horses and mermen.
Weight 355 grams, 11.4 troy ounces.
Height 9.5cm (to top of handle). Width 11.5cm. Spread 15.8cm.

Marks. Stamped underneath with a full set of English silver hallmarks.

In very good condition. The gilt is bright with no wear. Sharp detail.
