A good early 20th century sterling silver tankard with domed lid and baluster form. Good weight and size. Excellent plain style. Uninscribed. Good colour. Contains 1220 ml. Weight 988 grams, 31.7 troy ounces. Height 21.5 cms (to top of thumb piece). Spread 19 cms. Diameter 11.2 cms (top), 12.3 cms (base). London 1909. Maker D & M Davis.
Condition
This silver tankard is in very good condition. With good gauge silver and full set of clear and matching English silver hallmarks on the lid and body. It is unrestored and shows no signs of erasure or misuse. Good colour. Uninscribed. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age.
