A large antique silver table mirror with domed top and art nouveau style silver decoration applied to the lower body. Excellent style. Original bevelled edge glass. The polished wooden back is fitted with an adjustable back stand (brass). Height 41cm. Width 33cm. German silver stamps and maker/retailers mark for Eugen Marcus, Berlin. Circa 1910.
Condition
This stylish mirror is in very good condition with no damage. Stamped on the edge with the German silver stamps crown and moon, 800 silver grade. The mirror is original and has some frosting marks.

Eugen Marcus was a German silversmith working in Berlin circa 1905-1910. He designed tea and coffee sets, jewellery boxes, wine coolers, and table silver. Mainly in the art nouveau style.
