A nice little antique sterling silver pig sitting on his haunches. Weight 23 grams. Length 7.8 cms. Height 2.4 cms. Import marks under the head for London 1904. No makers mark.

Signed/Inscribed: The Hallmarking of Foreign Plate Act of 1904 reformed the system and introduced distinct import marks for each assay office. London’s symbol for 1904-1905 was a rayed sun with facial features.
