A handsome antique silver beaker of tapering form and plain style. The body with simulated snakeskin texture. Initial “P” to the front. Original pale gilt interior.
Contains 250 ml.
Weight 99 grams, 3.1 troy ounces.
Height 8.7 cms. Diameter 7.5 cms (top), 6 cms (base).
Stamped underneath with Swiss silver marks for Zurich.
Circa 1680.
Condition
This early Swiss silver beaker is in good condition. Good clear silver marks. Wear to the interior gilt. This beaker was originally a chalice and the bottom has a circular mark and indentation where the foot used to be. The beaker has been teated for water retention and does not leak. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
