Description
A good plain style antique silver coffee pot with straight tapering sides and a shallow domed lid. To the front is a contemporary hand engraved armorial within a decorative cartouche. Good gauge silver and excellent colour.
Contains 640 ml.

Signed/Inscribed: The arms are for Malyn impaling those of Lubbock. An armorial certificate from research carried out in 1991, is available – see image.
Condition
The coffee pot is in very good condition. With a full set of clear English silver hallmarks under the base, the lid with lion mark only. The engravings are crisp with a small amount of wear. The wooden handle is probably original, a small fault can be seen below the thumbpiece. The pot has been tested for water retention and does not leak. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
