A very attractive antique sterling silver teapot of globular design on a pedestal foot. Small size. With a curved spout and deep chased decoration to the upper body and lid. Contains 550 ml. Weight 535 grams, 17.2 troy ounces. Height 15 cms. Spread 23cms. London 1754. Maker Richard Gurney & Thomas Cook.

This pretty teapot is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. The silver marks are clear and easy to read, the lid is unmarked. The chased decoration is crisp and well defined. The pot has been water tested and does not leak; it pours beautifully. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
