An elegant antique silver drinking chalice with a tapering bowl on a spreading base. Beautifully embossed and hand chased decoration of flowers and foliage. Excellent quality and weight. Original bright gilt interior.
Contains 500 ml.
Weight 252 grams, 8.1 troy ounces.
Height 17.4cm. Diameter 9cm (top and foot).
London 1807.
Maker Charles Hollinshed, a known goblet maker.
Sterling silver.
Marks. Stamped underneath with a full set of English silver hallmarks.
Condition
This early 19th century cup is in very good condition with moderate signs of wear commensurate with age.
