Description
A fine antique sterling silver chocolate pot with elegant plain baluster shape on pedestal foot. Stylish gadroon borders and a large armorial engraved to the front. Not only does it have a removable top finial (for stirring the chocolate) but also the lid is detachable and is secured with a shaped pin.
Weight 924 grams, 29.7 troy ounces.
Contains 1000 ml.

Condition
This excellent antique chocolate pot is in very good condition. Good patina and weight. Crisp engraving. Atamped with a set of good clear English silver hallmarks underneath, lion passant on the lid, top finial unmarked. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
