Condition
These charming silver bottle coasters are in very good condition with no damage or repairs. Both are stamped around the bottom edge with a full set of matching English silver hallmarks; there is some wear as is often the base when they are marked in this position, however they are very readable. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.

Henry Chawner, free of Goldsmiths Company by patrimony. 1st mark (2 sizes) entered as plateworker 1786. 2nd mark (2 sizes) 1787. Married the daughter and heiress of Edward Hore in 1791, Livery 1791. 3rd mark as partner with John Emes 1796. Elected to Court of Assistants 1801. Died 1851.
