Description

A highly collectible antique sterling silver and shell snuff box with a hinged lid. The silver top has a pretty hand engraved decoration and initials in old fashioned cursive script; in the centre there is a piece of shell inset within an oval cartouche. Height 3 cms. Top 6.5 x 3.5 cms. Unmarked silver. Circa 1800.

This charming antique box is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. The surface of the shell is good. The engraving on the silver is crisp. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
