Description

An excellent quality antique silver stipple ground beaker of tapering form and plain style, the body with simulated dotted texture and plain circular cartouche. Simple shape with concentric double ribbed detail to the top and 3 ball feet. Original gilt interior.

Contains 200 ml.
Weight 122 grams, 3.9 troy ounces.
Height 8.5cm. Diameter 7.5cm.
Made in Larvik, Norway.
Maker Ludvig Mouritzen Svab.
Circa 1733.

Marks. Stamped underneath twice with the Norwegian silversmith’s mark for Ludvig Mouritzen Svab.

Condition

This early Scandanavian silver beaker is in very good condition. Bright original gilt.
