    An extremely rare antique silver jug dating from the 1600’s with a cast, shaped handle and superb decoration with embossed cherubs’ heads and bunches of fruit. Very heavy quality and feels good in the hand. Deep bright gilding throughout. Originally an altar cruet jug for wine and/or water. Weight 226 grams, 7.2 troy ounces. Height 15cm. Spread 10.3cm. Foot diameter 6.7cm. Haarlem 1643. Maker Arent Verstege. 17th century.

    A handsome pair of antique sterling silver sauceboats with classic plain style typical of the period. With a broad band of gadroon edging, acanthus leaf handle and sitting on chunky shell feet. Each with a hand engraved crest to one side. Very good weight and large size. Each contains 330 ml. Total weight of pair 757 grams, 24.3 troy ounces. Spread 21 cms. An antique sterling silver dish stand in the form of two crossed arms, centrally pivotted, with adjustable shell feet/dish supports and a central spirit warmer, the whole being flat folded for easy storage. The combined legs/dish holders telescope in and out to accommodate different sized plates. Weight 745 grams, 23.9 troy ounces. Adjustable diameter 17/35 cms. Length when closed 35.5 cms.     A handsome pair of antique sterling silver candelabras with detachable 3 light branches and sconces. Very attractive design with a baluster stem and shaped bases with shell motifs. Heavy cast silver and good colour. The 2 branches can be assembled on one candlestick to make a 5 branch candelabra. Total weight 2755 grams, 88.5 troy ounces. Height 41.5 cm (3 branch candelabra), 48 cm (5 branch candelabra), 22.5 cms (candlesticks). Candlesticks – London 1760 by John Hyatt & Charles Semore. The candelabra branches were made later to match the candlesticks – London 1891 by Johnson Walker & Tolhurst.
