Description

A nice little silver pepper pot in the form of a Victorian teapot. Typical late 19th century shape with oval tapering sides and straight spout. Gilt inside. The lid pulls off to fill with pepper. Weight 28 grams, just under 1 troy ounce. Height 4 cms. Spread of handle to spout 7. 2 cms. Base 4.2 x 3.4 cms. Chester 1898. Maker Saunders & Shepherd.

This pretty little collectors condiment is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Stamped with full English silver hallmarks on both top and base. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
