    An antique continental silver cup of tapering form with a shaped base and standing on three ball feet. Charming decoration with embossed flower heads and foliate scrolls. Original faded gilt interior and remaining traces of the gilt exterior. Contains 120 ml. Weight 62 grams, 2 troy ounces. Height 9.5 cms. Diameter 6.5 cms. Stamped underneath with the German town mark “N” for Nuremberg (Nurnberg), makers mark “HH” for Heniel Hamon and an assay scrape. Circa 1700.

    A very attractive 19th century novelty silver fish with green glass eyes and articulated body. The fish opens into a box at the neck and has an unusual snap shut mechanism. Large size and graceful style with naturalistic engraved detail and scales. The bottom fins serve also as stand supports. Weight 274 grams, 8.8 troy ounces. Length 28cm. Foreign silver marks.
