    A stunning antique sterling silver jug with lid in the stylistic form of a sea shell with cast dolphin feet and lid finial. Very typical of Farrell’s Regency rococo work which is so prized. The gilt finish has a deep bright colour. Weight 166 grams, 5.3 troy ounces. Height 9 cms. Top rim measures 7×5.5 cms. London 1838. Maker Edward Farrell.

Excellent quality and heavy weight. This delightful piece was originally intended for serving cream or sauce however it would be equally suited for use with dried flowers or as a dressing table tidy etc. Weight 120 grams, 3.8 troy ounces.
