    A stunning pair of antique silver vegetable tureens of octagonal form, with matching covers. The detachable libers can be used separately. Excellent quality and thick gauge silver. These serving dishes make an impressive show with their twin scrolling handles, applied borders and classical scenes amounted to the front and reverse sides. The lids have attractive pumpkin finials and an applied monogram with mythical ornament. Total weight including liners 4305 grams, 138.4 troy ounces. Height 24.1cm (to top of finial). Spread across handles 24.1cm. Diameter 15cm. Vienna. Circa 1880. Maker Josef Carl Klinkosch.

    A magnificent set of four 19th century cut crystal claret jugs with decorative silver mounts and hinged lids. Fantastic quality. The interior silver has bright original gilding while the exterior bears faint, gilt traces. The crystal body is cut with ribbons and harebell swags, the lower body and base with cut ribbing. Each contains 750 ml. Height 23.8cm. Spread 15.6cm. French silver marks. Circa 1880. High grade silver. 950/1000.

    A handsome set of 6 antique sterling silver plates with plain styling and shaped reeded borders with an applied foliate decoration. Good size and weight. To one edge is the hand engraved crest of a dragon over a crown with the initial “B” below. Excellent quality and manufacture as you’d expect from this world famous silversmith.     A lovely little antique silver toy hot water kettle with a pull off lid and folding handle. It looks like an exact copy of a full size original. Height 4.2cm (handle extended), 3.2cm (handle folded). Probably made in the Netherlands. Circa 1790. Unmarked silver.

    A handsome pair of 19th century antique silver on brass oil lamp bases, now mounted as electric table lamps. Excellent quality design with Corinthian capitals, tall reeded columns and square plinths applied with laurel wreaths. The bases retain their original cast iron stability weights. Early Victorian. Height 58cm (63cm with electrical fitting). Width of base 16.5cm. Circa 1840. Unmarked. These lamps are being sold as decorative items only and have no electrical wiring.

    A handsome antique silver drinking cup with a tapering bowl on a chunky square base (lemon squeezer form). Classic plain style and clean lines. Original pale gilt interior. Hand engraved to the front is a monogram of intertwined initials in old fashioned script. Contains 410ml. Weight 237 grams, 7.6 troy ounces. Height 16.7cm. Diameter 9cm. London 1802.     10129 Antique Silver Ewer and Basin

    A very rare and prestigious item. This magnificent gilt silver armada jug and stand was presented in honour of the Guildhall banquet for the Prince and Princess of Wales’s return from India. The tall jug, of vase shape form, has bands of classical motifs and ribbing, the centre with deep relief swags of ribbons and fruit with centre medallions. This superb decoration is repeated on the matching base which has a raised central dome decorated with the Prince of Wales feathers. The front of the basin has a large presentation inscription dated 1876. Weight – ewer 908 grams, basin 1258 grams, total 2166 grams, 69.6 troy ounces. Jug – height36cm, spread 14cm. Basin diameter 39.5cm. London 1875/6. Maker Martin Hall.
